thanksgiving celebrations

Since I'm posting so many pictures today, I'll try to keep my words short. We had two Thanksgivings this year: one with my dad's family in Oklahoma, and one with my mom's family in Texas. The first was small and quiet, with lots of catching up and dominoes. My great-grandmother had her three grandsons together for the first time in years, as my uncle Randy had flown in from England. The second was loud, boisterous, and BIG. Seriously, it was in a barn. I spent time with cousins whom I hadn't seen in many years.

Both celebrations were very refreshing and full of love.

I feel grateful to have such different families, all filled with loving people who understand the important of a pot of gravy and iced tea at Thanksgiving. :)
