outfit: opening day 2012

First, I have to apologize for the mountainous wrinkles in today's outfit. The pictures were taken the day after I actually wore it, after the clothes had a chance to languish in the abyss of my dirty laundry basket. Gross, I admit, but I just can't be bothered to remember my camera on Opening Day. I just can't.

Tailgating for Opening Day of baseball season is so fun. This year, I went all out on easy game day DIYs. I made a fresh Strawberry Limeade Cocktail and three team t-shirts using this tutorial. It was really fun and super simple - I just bought a pack of three men's undershirts and painted on my designs with bleach! Everyone asked me where I bought my shirt, and I have to admit to a level of smugness when I told them that I made it for under $5. DIY FTW.
